Bumar Group's Mesko and Telesystem-Mesko divisions presented a new unit-level air-defence system at Poland's MSPO exhibition.
The Kus 29 (Crossbow) system consists of two modernised Grom man-portable air-defence system (MANPADS) missiles mounted on a specialised launch rack fitted on the back of a Polaris all-terrain vehicle.

"This system fills a gap that exists between the single foot soldier carrying around one or more Grom missiles on his back and a larger, SA-6 type air-defence battery," said a Telesystem-Mesko representative.
